When I was eight years old, I began attending GIO classes. At that age, I didn’t truly understand what the classes were or how important they would become in my life. I simply went because my mother sent me. I attended without realizing the purpose, without knowing that I was stepping into a journey that would shape who I am today.
Now, Alhamdulillah, I am eighteen years old. Looking back, it has been almost ten years of walking alongside GIO. It feels as though I have grown with these classes, learning, maturing, and evolving step by step. Alhamdulillah, this journey has been a blessing beyond words.
In the beginning, I used to listen to whatever was taught in class without much reflection. I knew it was knowledge, and I knew knowledge was important, but I never imagined how deeply it would guide me later in life. Today, that same knowledge helps me in my thoughts, my actions, and my decisions. Alhamdulillah, what I once only heard has now become something I live by.
One of the most important gifts GIO gave me was confidence. It helped me break my stage fear and taught me how to speak, express, and deliver the knowledge I had learned. Speaking up was something I never imagined myself doing. At that time, I didn’t realize how badly I needed this skill—but today, I understand how valuable it is. For that, I will always be grateful.
GIO has always made me feel proud of learning, growing, and being part of something meaningful. It introduced me to knowledge I didn’t know and made me feel truly blessed, as if Allah Himself had chosen me to be a part of this journey. Alhamdulillah for that honor.
GIO did not limit itself to teaching only the Qur’an and Hadith. Beyond religious knowledge, it helped me explore my creativity and hobbies. Through workshops such as Arabic calligraphy, glass painting, and many other exciting activities, I discovered new interests and skills that enriched my personality and confidence.
One of the biggest achievements GIO gifted me is the ability to write. Alhamdulillah, I have now published almost seven articles. This would never have been possible without the guidance, encouragement, and platform provided by GIO—along with Allah’s mercy and support.
Alhamdulillah for every lesson, every opportunity, and every moment of growth that GIO has given me. I will forever be grateful for being part of this beautiful journey. May Allah reward everyone behind it and allow this source of knowledge to continue guiding many more lives, Ameen. #MyGIOJourney
