"Some Books you forget, but some quietly change the way you think."
Mohammad-e-Arabi (PBUH) by Inayatullah Subhani is one of those books for me. I have read many books, but this one has had the deepest impact on my heart. This book is truly beautiful and meaningful. It combines history and moral lessons in a very engaging way. When I read it, I realized that I had gained something valuable and important. One of the strongest points of this book is its tone. Even though it is well-researched, the language is not difficult at all. In fact, it is simple and clear, which makes it easy to understand.
The book does not start directly from the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Instead, it first explains his ancestors and the background of Arabia at that time. Honestly, this part feels very important because when we understand that era, the message of the Prophet (PBUH) becomes even more powerful. This is not just a story of Seerah, it has suspense and keeps you engaged. The purpose of the book is not only to tell a story but also to inspire and spiritually uplift the reader. It reminds us that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not just a part of history, but a complete guide for all of humanity. What I liked the most is how the book gives lessons throughout the chapters. These lessons feel very real and relatable. His patience, kindness, and honesty don’t just sound like words they feel real and meaningful.
As the story moves forward, the book beautifully describes different phases of the Prophet’s Mohammad (saw) life, his childhood, his Prophethood, and his role as a leader. Events like the Hijrat e Habshah, Hijrat e Madinah, the battles (Badr,Uhud etc.) the journey to Taif, Isra and Miraj, and other incidents are explained in such a simple and connected way that history becomes easy to understand. What touched me deeply is the book’s focus on character and sincerity. In today’s world, where we often get lost in superficial things, this book gently brings us back to what truly matters. Personally, it made me reflect on my mindset, become more mindful and understand how even small actions can have a big impact. The most important lesson I learned is that real change does not come only from big moments it comes from small consistent efforts every day. If you don’t just want to know about the life of the Prophet (PBUH), but truly understand it, then you should definitely read Mohammad-e-Arabi.
